Clark, NJ (PRWEB) April 11, 2013
HealthEd announced that Carleen Kelly, a seasoned agency executive and catalyst for life sciences marketing innovation, has joined the company in the role of EVP/Client Engagement Officer. She will report to the president, Jill Balderson, and maintain overall responsibility for leading the client engagement team, which is devoted to attracting, developing, retaining, and advancing client relationships by identifying the needs of brands to address patientcentric initiatives.
The focus of HealthEd is helping our clients and prospective clients find better, more efficient ways of putting the patient first, which can add value and enhance the financial results of the brand, said Kelly.
Before joining HealthEd, Kelly was a partner at CAHG, a professional healthcare communications agency within the Omnicom network. During her 8 years of agency leadership, she rebranded the New York agency and led double-digit revenue growth, winning business from Takeda, Merck, Forest, Daiichi Sankyo, and other global clients, and the agency was nominated for Agency of the Year by Medical Advertising News.
Kelly said: I take pride in having worked throughout my career in promotional areas that were at the forefront at the time, such as peer influence dinner meetings, voucher sampling with e-detailing efforts, managed-care communications, and disease-state management initiatives. With the current marketplace challenges and regardless of the marketing channels, the time to focus on the patient experience of healthcare is now.
She noted that physicians influence over their patients treatment is challenged because of the increasing number of stakeholdersfrom the Federal Government to accountable care organizationsengaged in the oversight of healthcare services.
There is a vital opportunity to lead clients into the era of collaborative healthcare decision makingcreating strategies and programs that drive outcomes by building bridges between patients, care partners, physicians, and healthcare extenders, Kelly said.
A resident of Basking Ridge, Kelly will continue serving her profession as an active member of the Healthcare Businesswomens Association, where she earned recognition as Metro HBA 2008 Volunteer of the Year and serves on the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Associations Go Red for Women initiative.
